About Judy Michael Artist

Judy Michael enjoys living in Northeast Montana, painting the scenery, wildlife, homesteads, ghost towns and heritage of the area. She enjoys the history of this unique land and continues to study and learn to capture this area in her paintings.

Examples of Judy Michael's artwork can be seen at several galleries and at larger Art Shows in the Montana, North Dakota, and Wyoming Areas. She has participated in the prestigious "C.M. Russell Art Show and Auction" in Great Falls, Montana since 1979. Her paintings have been in many juried Art Show, The Montana State Fair, where she was awarded the 2001 Montana State Fair Art Collection Award. This painting became the property of the Montana State Board's permanent collection.

Her art has been displayed at the Montana Seed Show since 1984 and won several awards, including the Sanguins Best of Show Award 2000 & 2008. She was the featured artist for the Roughrider Art Show 2005 in Williston, North Dakota and has displayed her artwork in this show since 2000. Judy has won several First-Place Ribbons for her paintings at the MonDak Heritage Center Art Shows. She has also displayed at the Custer County Art Center Art Shows (juried) since 1997 and won the People's Choice Awards in 2000 & 2002 in Miles City, Montana.
